Section number and name:
ReaR setup sections, 14.1 and 18.1
Describe the issue:
With rhel8/9 versions of the docs, we lost config examples which we had in the rhel7 version:
https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html-single/system_administrators_guide/index#pref-Acknowledgments
This will (after pending fix) have
OUTPUT=ISO
OUTPUT_URL=file:///mnt/rescue_system/
and other pieces. Customers are not getting these pieces on rhel8/9, need to get this from somewhere else, and ask us (or in this case our partner) about this. Do we have a reason for dropping this in 8/9 docs?
I could imagine we try to be less verbose to be more future proof, having to change fewer things when the config format changes. But that is not expected insider of rhel major versions, which also probably won't change ReaR versions.
Impact of this issue:
Causes increased number of support cases for our partner, potentially also us.
Suggestions for improvement:
We should offer the same verbosity as for rhel7.
