Testable
Bob Handlin (PM) and Michal Bocek (PO) have decided to no longer allow conversion to RHEL 6.
Reasons:
- Neither of them is aware of any approved support exception for that = customers are not interested in that.
- RHEL 6 has an ancient python version available and that creates a big burden to Dev and QE to maintain compatibility with this old python version.
Acceptance criteria:
- The convert2rhel code is cleared from RHEL 6 and python 2.6-related code
- The conversions to RHEL 6 are removed from the unsupported conversions doc https://access.redhat.com/articles/2360841
- The Jira template for downstream releases is updated to not include RHEL 6 related stuff (https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHELC-712)
- The Makefile, Dockerfiles, and GitHub workflows are updated to not include RHEL 6 related stuff
