Customers will soon™ have a way to alter the Insights conversion task behavior through input parameters (RHINENG-8807). The pre-conversion analysis report messages are displayed to the customer in the Insights UI and for that reason the messages should not talk only about what the customer should do on CLI but the message should be applicable to the Insights environment as well.

To be more specific, when telling the customer how to skip a certain check (currently e.g. "To circumvent this check and accept the risk you can set environment variable 'CONVERT2RHEL_ALLOW_UNAVAILABLE_KMODS=1'.") we should explain how to skip it on the CLI as well as in Insights.

      Acceptance criteria:

      • The pre-conversion analysis check messages explain how to do a certain action both on the CLI and in Insights. For example:
        • The "overridable inhibitor" type of a message explains how to override the check in both environments
        • The warning type of an inhibitor that now suggests the use of an --eus or --els convert2rhel cli options explains how to use the EUS and ELS repos during the conversion in both environments

One option we discussed on Cabal as viable is to move environment specific information to a KB article and link to the article from the analysis report message. This approach would also allow us later on to add steps the customer can or should do when performing the conversion in other environments such as Satellite.
