Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Centos 8.5 system and install the below packages

java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.312.b07-2.el8_5.x86_64
java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.312.b07-2.el8_5.x86_64
java-1.8.0-openjdk-devel-1.8.0.312.b07-2.el8_5.x86_64

2. Check `alternate --list` command output . It will list java alternatives
3. using conver2rhel procedure migrate system to RHEL8.5 .
4. Now check by executing `alternate --list` it will not list java alternatives.
Actual results:
Alternatives of java not maintained after conversion to RHEL8.5
Expected results:
Alternatives of java need to be maintained after conversion to RHEL8.5

On Centos 8.5 system we need to enable EPEL and CentOS-Linux-PowerTools repo repo
And The customer has additional below packages installed
R-java-4.1.2-1.el8.x86_64
R-java-devel-4.1.2-1.el8.x86_64
