      Overview

This epic tracks any purposeful work related to ensuring the success of our team. More specifically, the work under this epic is more than just “quality of life improvements” because it ensures that our team operates effectively and efficiently within not just the Agentic & AI Engineering Tooling org, but within Red Hat AI Engineering as a whole as well. Examples of team operations & enhancements include, but are not limited to: establishing necessary team procedures or guidelines; onboarding new team members; defining or updating inter-team contracts; updating the team wiki; collaborating with stakeholders for improved team relations; writing tutorials (knowledge sharing); and investigating tooling/software to enhance our team’s workflows.

      Goals

For this sprint's epic, our high-level goals are as follows:

      • Onboard new members to our team
      • Establish inter-team relationships:
        • Coordinate with the new component teams under Cat Weeks to understand their current state, needs, and goals from a DevOps perspective so that we can maximize our positive impact within the Agentic & AI Engineering Tools org. (e.g., How can we support them going forward?)
        • Coordinate with the eval and training teams under Sherard Griffin to understand their current state and understand how we might be able to provide support, as our team will likely be interacting with them in some capacity to shepherd upstream artifacts to/from them.
      • Establish necessary team processes and procedures ("ways of working")
