Feature Overview (mandatory - Complete while in New status)

During the ETX workshop, we found that using docling with complicated documents cna be a bit tricky. As the product evolves, we can work on documenting how to alleviate some issues/highlight best practices. In particular, some things that can be covered:

      1. Using docling's Tesseract on Mac
      2. How can users pull in a folder of documents?
      3. How to use the remove image flag to indicate to docling to ignore images?
      4. What do you with headers and footers? (If tables don’t have headers - docling (most parsers) doesn’t infer the context nor does it leave it blank. It uses row1 as the header)
      5. How to deal with more complex structures - tables within tables, tables that span multiple pages
      6. Training with .md generates less data than with pdfs - Because of different chunking rules. We should talk about this!

Provide outputs of docling chunking to compare?

Goals (mandatory - Complete while in New status)
Provide high-level goal statement, providing user context and expected user outcome(s) for this Feature

      • Who benefits from this Feature, and how?
      • What is the difference between today’s current state and a world with this Feature?

Requirements (mandatory -_ Complete while in Refinement status):
A list of specific needs, capabilities, or objectives that a Feature must deliver to satisfy the Feature. Some requirements will be flagged as MVP. If an MVP gets shifted, the Feature shifts. If a non MVP requirement slips, it does not shift the feature.

Documentation Considerations {}{}(Initial completion while in Refinement status):
Provide information that needs to be considered and planned so that documentation will meet customer needs. If the feature extends existing functionality, provide a link to its current documentation..
