Hostname setting is not related to any of the above and I think it should have its own issue in Jira. Related:

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Boot from ISO a BM or VM ( rhel-ai-intel-1.3.1-1734107537-x86_64.iso )
- Configure root user, user, network, gw, dns and hostname
- Install system
- After the installation the hostname is not configured

- while investigating the NetworkManager service there were error messages related to dbus:
