Goal

As an EPEL packager of KDE Plasma, I want wayland-protocols upgraded to at least v1.45, so that building KDE Plasma will continue to work. This is particularly because pointer-warp and ext-background-effect is included in this release. Support is currently expected for the next KDE Plasma release.

Acceptance criteria

A list of verification conditions, successful functional tests, or expected outcomes in order to declare this story/task successfully completed.

• Verify wayland-protocols package is v1.45 or higher
• Verify pointer-warp protocol definition is included
• Verify ext-background-effect protocol definition is included
