We want to leave the management of /usr/bin/node, /usr/bin/npm, and other related symlinks in the care of the update-alternatives system. But since they are currently being handled manually by one of the existing streams, simply introducing the system into a new stream would start conflicting with the existing symlinks.

We need to propose a Fedora Change to switch to update-alternatives across the board.
