What were you trying to do that didn't work?

RHEL-9.7 ppc64le rootfs installer images have less available space than expected (at least 500 MiB), which may lead to installation crashes, such as in RHEL-32504:

$ sudo mount install.img /mnt/img
$ sudo mount /mnt/img/LiveOS/rootfs.img /mnt/img2
$ lsblk -o MOUNTPOINTS,FSAVAIL | grep /mnt/img2
/mnt/img2                 394,7M

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

RHEL-9.7.0-20250521.6
lorax-34.9.27-1.el9

How reproducible:

Always with current RHEL-9.7 composes.

Steps to reproduce

1. Mount rootfs.img and check the available space.

Expected results

At least 500 MiB is available in the rootfs.img.

Actual results

Less than 500 MiB is available in the rootfs.img.
