What were you trying to do that didn't work?

If we check the documentation for creating an edge-installer image, we see that first we have to create an edge-container or an edge-commit, which takes time.

Once the container or commit is created, we again need to host it as a repo and then proceed with the actual edge-installer creation.

      https://docs.redhat.com/en/documentation/red_hat_enterprise_linux/9/html-single/composing_installing_and_managing_rhel_for_edge_images/index#deploying-an-os-with-a-rhel-for-edge-container-commit-for-non-network-based-deployments_assembly_deploying-a-non-network-rhel-for-edge-image

So the request here is that, can we implement this process of directly creating an edge-installer image, as most of the time we are using it for initial installation.

This functionality is already available on hybrid cloud console, and having this available with the osbuild-composer tool does save time and requires minimal manual intervention.
