This is a clone of issue RHEL-75810 to use for version rhel-9.4.z
–
Original description:
Some applications assign a heap-allocated pointer to environ and call setenv, and expect that environ is heap-allocated afterwards. The changes in RHEL-67692 are incompatible with that.
This was originally observed with a userhelper coredump.
