send SIGHUP to rsyslog
Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:
rsyslog-gssapi-8.2102.0-13.el8, possibly even older
How reproducible:
100%
Steps to reproduce
- set a omprog script which sends the SIGHUP to the daemon and then does also something else
- trigger the omprog
Expected results
the script continues to run ewven after the SIGHUP point
Actual results
the script appereas to be terminated
Additional info
normally, when the selinux is in enforcing mode, the scrip most likely will not be able to send the signal using systemctl, selinux persmissive is safe way here
