What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Currently, the RHEL 9.6 bootc container image doesn't select any default authselect profile which is inconsistent with the RHEL 10.0 bootc container image selecting the local profile.

Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:

      rhel-bootc:RHEL-9.6.0-20250303.8

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Pull rhel-bootc:latest-9.6
      2. Run it as a container using `podman run`
      3. Run `authselect current`

      Expected results

RHEL 9.6 bootc container image selects some default authselect profile (e.g. minimal or sssd). This was also discussed in RHEL-76811.

      Actual results

      # authselect current
      No existing configuration detected.
