As we want to introduce upgrades on centos stream as well, we will need to most likely adjust properly repomap data - or come up how we want to handle repositories in RHEL-like distros in general, if we want to use something else than repomap data file for non-rhel systems. The main goal is that we need to mark properly target repoids for the upgrade. This ticket does not deal with the availability of the target repositories (how these repositories will be defined during the upgrade in repo files).
My initial idea is similar to the mapping change we did for rhui: introduce the distro key. I expect that all or majority of repositories in centos stream (and possibly other rhel or CS like systems) will copy repo families we already know, so we could just adjust the data properly to cover these as well.
Note that information about the distribution will be part of the IPUConfig.
Note that we do not expect to introduce changes in PES & DDDD data files for RHEL-like systems. We do not expect differences regarding DDDD (hw data) and in case of PES we expect that we will need to care just about a small set of rpms explicitely, which could be done by a specific actors instead. So the focus is only on repomap data.
