Steps to reproduce
- Start a guest on ampere-one-x host:
#virsh start vm
2.Restart virtqemud:
#systemctl restart virtqemud
3.Check the virtqemud log in syslog, unexpected error log about cpu model shown:
#cat /var/log/messages
...
Feb 19 07:31:50 ampere-one-x-02 virtqemud[18098]: 18121: error : virCPUarmDecode:637 : operation failed: Cannot find CPU model with PVR 0xac4
4.List the cpu models and flags:
# lscpu ... Vendor ID: Ampere BIOS Vendor ID: Ampere (R) Model name: Ampere-1a BIOS Model name: AmpereOne (R) ... Additional info:
The issue can not reproduce with Ampere(R) Altra CPU.
