What were you trying to do that didn't work?
Since sos-4.9.0, the `sosreport` binary is gone (https://github.com/sosreport/sos/pull/3915 / https://github.com/sosreport/sos/commit/b13a3cc1bf0f4e33c536e24aa95f771763208c16). Despite there was a disclaimer about haven't noticed it. A "sudden" removal of such well established command can be too abrupt for them.
Let keep a binary in dowstream that will do nothing else than print a warning "sosreport binary is deprecated, use 'sos report' instead." Let keep it for a year or two (also on shiny new RHEL10? or is this request redundant there..?) and then remove this "FYI binary".
What is the impact of this issue to you?
Some customers can be confused where the tool is gone. Let make their user experience with our support as smooth, simple and bullet-proof as possible.
