      Squid server crashes with the following error:

      FATAL: check failed: transporting()
           exception location: FwdState.cc(678) noteDestinationsEnd
           current master transaction
      

      Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      squid-5.5-14.el9_5.3.x86_64

      How reproducible:

      The crash may happen on average after ~1k continuous and repeated requests.

      Upstream seems to have already fixed this issue with the following commit and released it in squid-5.7:
      https://github.com/squid-cache/squid/commit/c99962131fd6dab24be8d6d5eaef8131ae41c9b5

      Please backport this commit.
