3. Business Justification
a. Why is this feature needed? This request addresses bugs that affect multiple cards in our product portfolio and serves to keep the RHEL driver in sync with the upstream version of the driver.
b. What hardware or software does this enable? This bug corrects issues in our performance adapters.
c. If hardware, is it on-board in a system (eg, LOM) or an add-on card? Add-on card & LOM
d. Business impact? This bug is required to support all our Ethernet cards with the latest upstream code.
e. What market problems / audience does it address? We want the driver in RHEL to support the latest hardware from our company, be as close to parity with the upstream driver, and provide the stability customers expect from our partnership.
4. QE Test Plan - Red Hat has NICs in their lab, and they can be tested using the standard RoCE and related ULP tests
