What were you trying to do that didn't work?

I'm trying to branch mkdocs-material for epel10, in order to enable the work that the CentOS Docs SIG is doing. mkdocs-material needs python-pymdown-extensions which needs python3-markdown >= 3.6. Given that Fedora already carries 3.7, you might want to consider updating to that directly (and I've verified that version works fine for my usecase).

What is the impact of this issue to you?

Blocking building CentOS Docs onto CentOS Stream 10, as we can't branch mkdocs-material for EPEL 10 which is a requirement.
