      Feature, enhancement:
      We are adding Maven 3.9 to RHEL 9.6.

      Reason:
      Customers need a choice of Maven 3.9, a newer version of Maven, for their developer use cases. Maven 3.9 is the new update to Maven with a number of general fixes and improvements and several backports from the Maven 4 line. In 3.9, Maven cuts ties with Maven 2 backward compatibility preparing for Maven 4.

      Result:
      Maven 3.9 is now available in RHEL 9.6 appstream.
