What is the impact of this issue to you?
journal is spammed with the following messages:
Dec 13 17:04:06 wpa_supplicant[4438]: wlp1s0: CTRL-EVENT-SIGNAL-CHANGE above=1 signal=-57 noise=9999 txrate=780000
Dec 13 17:04:09 wpa_supplicant[4438]: wlp1s0: CTRL-EVENT-SIGNAL-CHANGE above=1 signal=-54 noise=9999 txrate=585000
Dec 13 17:04:12 wpa_supplicant[4438]: wlp1s0: CTRL-EVENT-SIGNAL-CHANGE above=1 signal=-55 noise=9999 txrate=585000
pretty much every 3 seconds
Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:

wpa_supplicant-2.10-5.el9.x86_64
It's possible that this isn't directly a wpa_supplicant issue. I started seeing the messages on Nov 8th which is when the above kernel version was installed.
How reproducible is this bug?:
Unsure, only have one C9S system.

- Connect to wifi
Expected results
minimal log entries
Actual results
lots of log entries
Also seen regularly:
