unfortunately did not make it into the last RHDS-12 errata with 389-ds-base-2.5.2-2.el9_5

although it was a commit from early August, it somehow was too late to fit into the development schedule of the errata for

this is an issue to track adding 6284 into the next update with RHDS-12.5.2
