What were you trying to do that didn't work?

If I set "Night Mode", it is not checked after restart of the Papers (a tick beside the menu item). Moreover to turn it off, I must click on it two times (or use shortcut two times).

What is the impact of this issue to you?

To turn "Night Mode" off, I must click on it two times.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open some document in Papers
2. Turn on "Night Mode" - either by shortcut Ctrl+I or got to "Main Menu" -> "Night Mode"
3. Close Papers app and open it again
4. Night mode is on. Try to turn it off (Ctrl+I or got to "Main Menu" -> "Night Mode").

Expected results

Night mode is turned off after the first try. There is a tick in "Main Menu" next to "Night Mode" after Papers restart

Actual results

Night mode is not turned off after the first try. There is not a tick in "Main Menu" next to "Night Mode" after Papers restart. User has to try to turn it off for the second time (Ctrl+I or "Main Menu" -> "Night Mode").
