      This Jira ticket tracks the changes needed in Nmstate to address the workaround related to route removal. The workaround involves deactivating and reactivating connections (down-up) to remove routes, which was necessary due to a bug in NetworkManager. As the NetworkManager bug is getting resolved (RHEL-67324), Nmstate should adopt the correct approach using reapply to handle route changes.
