Description of problem:
Got a GIMP Debug message while opening a photo. The photo was taken by a Google Pixel 5 and processed (at least a little) by Google Photos. On opening, I got a prompt to convert the embedded sRGB color profile to GIMP's built-in and pretty simultaneously the GIMP Debug dialog popped up. The photo does open after closing the RGB conversion dialog.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
$ rpm -q gimp
gimp-2.99.8-3.el9.x86_64
$ rpm -q redhat-release
redhat-release-9.1-1.9.el9.x86_64
How reproducible:
Always with this particular photo. Perhaps with all photos taken by this phone. I'm able to open other photos, including photos taken a few years ago by older Android phones, with no problems.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install GIMP (`sudo dnf -y install gimp`)
2. Run GIMP
3. File > Open
4. Select problematic photo
5. Click Open
Actual results:
GIMP Debug dialog appears
Expected results:
GIMP Debug dialog doesn't appear
Additional info:
See attached for debug message generated by GIMP.

Note, they suggest trying a newer version of GIMP.
