What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      Load mutter

What is the impact of this issue to you?

None to me, it's an impact to any OEM mobile design that has built their PCI topology where they have multiple GPUs and the primary is not the first in the PCI topology list.

      How reproducible is this bug?:

      100% on affected designs.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Boot
      2. See no graphics at login screen.

      Expected results

      Graphics

      Actual results

      No graphics

This was fixed in mutter that will be part of GNOME 48.  I'm thinking it should be brought into RHEL 10 in case any other OEMs do this.

Prefer GPUs with built-in panels connected when selecting a primary GPU (ecbe4a5d) - Commits - GNOME / mutter - GitLab
