      rasdaemon 0.6.7 can suddenly start generating excessive amount of logs containing rasdaemon[6858]:   ug! negative record size -8. If unchecked, this will eventually lead to filling all the available disk space up and causing unavailability for other production system services, as has happened to our RHEL instance.

      This was already reported and fixed in upstream: https://github.com/mchehab/rasdaemon/issues/75, probably in version 0.8.0.
