      What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      Coming from lock screen the gnome-shell segfaults. Doesn't matter if it was arbitrary locked session or not.

      What is the impact of this issue to you?

      Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:

      gnome-shell-47.0-2.el10.x86_64 with nightly compose of RHEL-10.0-20241015.0

      How reproducible is this bug?:

      Always on this real HW system, lspci output attached.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Ctrl+L to lock screen (or wait for auto screen blank/lock)
      2. Move mouse to bring lock screen on
      3. Type the password

      Expected results

      session resumes

      Actual results

      Crash resulting in GDM session restart
