What were you trying to do that didn't work?
It's not possible to take a screenshot (using dogtail's dogtail.utils.screenshot() function) from an application (Anaconda) running in gnome-kiosk. This is due to a missing interface that's necessary for this functionality, similarly to gnome-shell.
What is the impact of this issue to you?
Installer QE's tests using Anabot are impacted, as the test results are missing screenshots (as opposed to RHEL-9), which makes test results reviews somewhat more difficult in case of failures.
Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:
gnome-kiosk-47.0-2.el10
Expected results
gnome-kiosk provides the interface necessary for dogtail to be able to take screenshots to achieve the same level of functionality as in RHEL-9 (where Anaconda runs under Xorg).
