What were you trying to do that didn't work?

After upgrade from thunderbird-115 to thunderbird-128, no new mails are downloaded/displayed

What is the impact of this issue to you?

Showstopper. Thunderbird-128 is completely useless at the moment

Steps to reproduce

1. update thunderbird
2. start thunderbird
3. no new mails are pulled from mailserver

Expected results

  should work as before: mails are pulled and displayed in inbox

Actual results

  does not work
