What were you trying to do that didn't work?

This bug is relevant to RHEL-58662. We fixed only the main fips-providers package and not debuginfo and debugsource as well.

      From the previous bug description:

Upgrading to the latest version of openssl-fips-provider-so after the rename doesn't obsolete the old openssl-fips-provider and they remain present in the system. Typically leaving old packages around is an error.

What is the impact of this issue to you?

      minimal

Please provide the package NVR for which the bug is seen:

      openssl-fips-provider-so-3.0.7-6.el9

      How reproducible is this bug?:

      always

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Run errata upgrade TPS tests

      Expected results

Old openssl-fips-provider debuginfo and debugsource package should not be installed and to be obsoleted after the upgrade.

      Actual results

Old openssl-fips-provider debuginfo and debugsource package are installed even after the upgrade.
