RHEL 10 dist-git branches were created without gating.yaml file. We need to add them to properly pass Gating in the future.
Components: capstone, gtk-vnc, libvirt-glib, mdevctl, osinfo-db-tools, python-pefile, virt-top, virt-viewer, rust-sevctl
Goal: Enable and verify gating for existing and new components in RHEL 10 Beta by the end of June 2024 (ITM 18).
Background: All RHEL 10 components should inherit the functional gating test from RHEL 9. Additionally, it is assumed by default that new components need to be enabled when being introduced to the release.
Justification: Supports the "Shift Left" and the "Always Ready RHEL" principles.
Instructions:
- Copy the gating.yaml file from the c9s branch in GitLab to the c10s branch. The product_versions will have to be changed from rhel-9 to rhel-10. See this MR for an example.
- Make sure functional gating tests in the rules section are executed and that they pass with a RHEL 10 build.
