python-dbusmock's bluez tests started failing recently: a week ago with bluez 5.72-5.el10 it still passed, but two days ago with bluez 5.77-2.el10 it started to fail
This can be reproduced trivially:
# bluetoothctl advertise on Segmentation fault (core dumped) # bluetoothctl advertise off Segmentation fault (core dumped) # bluetoothctl advertise broadcast Segmentation fault (core dumped)
This works correctly in Fedora 40 with bluez-5.77-1.fc40.x86_64. So this smells like fallout from the backported patches, as opposed to a bad upstream version.
