What were you trying to do that didn't work?

We ran into a variation of RHEL-49761 when using virt-customize on RHEL 9.4.z

This is the request to apply the fix for RHEL-49761 to virt-customize as well

The specific patches are at least
https://github.com/libguestfs/guestfs-tools/commit/d7719d6954f48c3a395da7486bcf55fbac66ea07 (this is what we currently manually inject to workaround it)

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      How reproducible:

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Inject and run a firstboot script using virt-customize as done in https://github.com/kubev2v/forklift/pull/988/files#diff-b2aa3be993e33b0115ca4c49056ee9a5347b8f7082b8c32a76275dc6fc7c89a1R15
