What were you trying to do that didn't work? When restarting the vnc session it is helpful to preserve the old log if the session terminated abnormally

How reproducible: 100%

Steps to reproduce

1. start vnc
2. kill session with -KILL
3. start vnc again
4. Note old log is gone

Expected results: At least one level of log is preserved

Actual results: Log is truncated
