What were you trying to do that didn't work?

The VNC console could not show the full desktop of the virtual machine when installating an RHEL.

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      Latest cockpit and cockpit-machines
      cockpit-311.1-1.el9.x86_64
      cockpit-machines-308-1.el9.noarch

      How reproducible:

      Always

      Steps to reproduce

      1.  Install RHEL9.4 as a VM host.
      2.  Install the cockpit-machines.
      3.  Create a VM with RHEL8 or RHEL9 installation media(ISO, http, ...)
      4. Just leave it there an monitor the VNC console.

      Expected results

The VNC console should be able to resize the display to fit the desktop of the VM.

      Actual results

Either an incomplete or deformed screen.
