      What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      Performance Degradation between qemu 9.0.0-6.el9 and 8.2.0-11.el9_4.4, expecailly for write/randwrite with 4k block size, and randread with 64k block size + 1 iodepth + 16 iothreads

      Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      qemu-kvm-core-9.0.0-6.el9.x86_64

      kernel-5.14.0-427.24.1.el9_4.x86_64

      How reproducible:

      100%

      Steps to reproduce

      Regression test of fio between qemu 9.0.0-6.el9 and 8.2.0-11.el9_4.4.

      Expected results

      No performance degradation or performance improved, but not degradation

      Actual results
