At this point, it's not possible to use dogtail for testing of applications that run in gnome-kiosk, as it doesn't provide the introspection interface in a similar way gnome-shell does. In our particular case, we'd need to use it in Anabot for Installer (Anaconda) graphical installations testing.

There is already a related issue filed upstream for gnome-ponytail-daemon.

The expected outcome is for gnome-kiosk to provide an introspection interface similar to gnome-shell's one (org.gnome.Shell.Introspect) that could be used in an analogous way by gnome-ponytail-daemon/ponytail/dogtail.
