There is the following user created in /etc/passwd:
      systemd-oom:x:990:990:systemd Userspace OOM Killer:/:/usr/sbin/nologin

This was addressed in https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-22430 and from systemd-252-27.el9  the user is not created.

From OpenShift Container Platform 4.16, there is a higher version of systemd than the one above mentioned and the user is indeed not created in /etc/passwd...If the node is upgraded, the user would remain if previously present.

Is it safe to remove this user after upgrading to >= systemd-252-27.el9 ?

      Thank you
