What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Running the upstream binutils test suite included in the Brew build. Several unexpected fails are reported on all architectures:

FAIL: bootstrap
FAIL: bootstrap with strip
FAIL: bootstrap with -Wl,--no-keep-memory
FAIL: bootstrap with -Wl,--relax
FAIL: bootstrap with -Wl,--traditional-format
