+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #2140973 +++

      Description of problem:
While trying to install RHEL 8.4 with UDF format ISO when attached as a DISK fails as Installer doesn't detect the disk. However, it works through PXE.
Customer claims this was working fine with RHEL 7.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEL 8.4 ISO in UDF format

      How reproducible:
      100%

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Create a UDF format ISO for RHEL 8.4
      2. Attach the UDF ISO as a disk and initiate the installation

      Actual results:
Disk is not detected by anaconda installer.

      Expected results:
Disk should be detected by anaconda installer and installation should proceed.

      Additional info:
Customer has modified anaconda code to make it work.
Attached 2 files provided by customer.

I'm marking comment 0 private, since it contains log files from the customer.

I'm not aware of supporting UDF installation media in the past, so I'm marking this bug as a request for a new feature.

Hi could you please provide us kickstart file? It seems that you are loading installation source/environment from the kickstart and we would need to know what command is used there.
