I've been tasked with upgrading our microservices that use UBI9 as their base image, such that these microservices will support HTTP/2. On the face of it, it doesn't sound like too much of a problem.

However, when I first made my image with nginx 1.24.0-1 from UBI9 AppStream, I quickly learned that there area problems. With a couple hours of searching and debugging I've finally stumbled on past users' experiences with the exact same issues I'm facing: https://trac.nginx.org/nginx/ticket/808

Turns out that this issue has been fixed by this feature request: https://trac.nginx.org/nginx/ticket/816

As such I would like to ask that nginx 1.25.1 or newer becomes available by any palatable means necessary in RHEL 9. I'm perfectly comfortable with:

• UBI9
• CentOS Stream
• EPEL
• modules in all aformentioned avenues
