pavucontrol is one of the apps we include in RHEL 10 by default. The app appears in Software as being available to install, and in the desktop amongst other apps after installation and in use.

The visible app name is: "PulseAudio Volume Control". This includes 4 words and 25 characters. The length results in the name being ellipsized in a number of desktop contexts. It appears as "PulseAudio Volu…" in system search, and as "PulseAudio Volume Con…" in the Software app.

The upstream app naming guidelines recommend using no more than 2 words and no more than 15 characters.

"Volume Control" would be fine as a name.
