gnome-software stuck looking for new updates

      Description of problem:

      gnome-software just spins and spins when attempting to check for updates after suspend/resume. Users are no longer see nor are they prompted about new updates unless the workstation is restarted.

      Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

      gnome-software-3.36.1-5
      gnome-software-3.36.1-9
      RHEL Workstation 8.4
      RHEL Workstation 8.5

      How reproducible:

      Very reproducible

      Steps to Reproduce:

      Launch Software ie gnome-software

      Then suspend the VM using the following command on the host;

      $ sudo virsh suspend rhel8.4-server

      Wait 2-3 minutes, then resume

      $ sudo virsh resume rhel8.4-server

      Then click the refresh button in gnome-software.

      So far I haven't seen the issue manifest, unless there is a step I am missing, please let me know, thanks.

      Actual results:

      gnome-software just spins and spins when attempting to check for updates after suspend/resume

      Expected results:

      Show a list of packages that need to update, or error out and close the program.

      Additional info:

      Appears to be an old issue that we're seeing in gnome-software-3.36.1-5.el8.x86_64
