What were you trying to do that didn't work?

[Machines] The disk name added by custom path is changed after creating snapshot for running vm

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      cockpit-machines-313-1.el9.noarch

      cockpit-316-1.el9.x86_64

      libvirt-dbus-1.4.1-5.el9.x86_64

      How reproducible:

      100%

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Import a running vm

      2. Click "Create snapshot", then click create, the source file will be changed to

       "{sourceFile}.{snapName}"

      3. Add a disk with "Custom path" like: /var/lib/libvirt/images/test_custom

      4. Click "Create snapshot",  then click create

The source file will be changed to "{sourceFile}.{snapName}"

The disk name will be changed to "{diskFile}.{snapName}" too

      Expected results

The disk name should not be changed maybe ? But feel free to close this issue if it's expected.

      Actual results

      See step 4.
