What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      pcp2openmetrics -s 2 'kernel.all.load'

This prints just one sample and then hangs indefinitely.

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      pcp-6.2.2-1.el9

      How reproducible:

Always on pcp-6.2.2-1.el9 build. However for pcp-6.2.1-1.el9 this (the -s option) was working correctly.

      Steps to reproduce

      1.   pcp2openmetrics -s 2 'kernel.all.load'

      Expected results

The command returns two results. The first one at the time when the command is started; then the second one after 10s. After the print of the second result the pcp2openmetrics ends gracefully.

      Actual results

The command returns just one sample and then hangs indefinitely. A signal (i.e. ^C) send to the tool is needed to finish it.
