8.10 to 9.4 RHUI SAP upgrade broken due to renamed client rhui rpms [GCP]

      What were you trying to do that didn't work?

      RHEL major version upgrade from RHEL 8.10 to RHEL 9.4 on GCP using RHUI as source does not work.

      Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      leapp-0.17.0-1.el8
      leapp-repository-0.20.0-2.el8

      How reproducible:

      Always

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Provision RHEL for SAP 8.10 in GCP
      2. Run leapp upgrade to 9.4 using RHUI

      Expected results

      Upgrade works

      Actual results

      Upgrade fails

      The issue is that leapp does not recognize the system as RHUI one because rhui client packages were renamed between 8.8 and 8.10.

            pholica@redhat.com that's correct as kindly confirmed by rhn-support-mmacura on a vanilla 8.10 to 9.4. I crossed checked on SAP the suggested workaround too and it works. My bad, I didn't comment on this ticket.

            leapp-0.18.0-1.el8_10.noarch.rpm
            leapp-deps-0.18.0-1.el8_10.noarch.rpm
            leapp-upgrade-el8toel9-0.21.0-2.el8_10.noarch.rpm
            leapp-upgrade-el8toel9-deps-0.21.0-2.el8_10.noarch.rpm
            python3-leapp-0.18.0-1.el8_10.noarch.rpm
            snactor-0.18.0-1.el8_10.noarch.rpm
            + production leapp-rhui-google-v4-rhel8-sap package

            for 8.8 to 9.2 and 8.10 to 9.4 for Hana installed and not.

            The only issue detected - when Hana is not installed and Leapp defaults to the latest release, which would be 9.5 in November, it can't be 9.5 since it is not E4S release and doesn't exist for PAYG SAP. We will document to use --target to overwrite default one.

            For the future release in May or actually November Y25 when 9.7 and 10.1 will be out it can be fixed as per https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OAMG-11895

            rhn-support-mmacura those preliminary tests set to PASS, were they executed on GCP environment? I ran 8.8 to 9.2 upgrade which went fine, but 8.10 to 9.4 fails reboot. I took 3 VMs - two SAP ones, and one Vanilla, all failed.
