      Document URL:
      https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/linux_domain_identity_authentication_and_policy_guide/pwd-expiration

      Section Number and Name:
28.5. Changing Password Expiration Date with Immediate Effect

      Describe the issue:
The chatper of documentation provides ldapmodify command to modify password expiration date of user account. A safer method is to use ipa user-mod <user> --password-expiration=<date>.

In addition, providing command to update directory server conflicts our policy:

      What is NOT supported:

      • Direct update of IdM directory is NOT supported.
      • It needs to be updated using ipa command, Web UI, or Identity Management API.
