What were you trying to do that didn't work?

GDM keeps on launching /usr/libexec/Xorg with "-nolisten tcp" instead of opening port 6000.
      1. /etc/gdm/custom.conf has [security] DisallowTCP=false
      2. No change when using /run/gdm/custom.conf instead
      3. Following KB solution 43654 note ("There should not be any additional blank space or blank line") does not help.

      4. Since RHBA-2022:1771 recommends gdm-40.0-23.el8.x86_64, the installed gdm-40.0-27.el8.x86_64 should work but it is not working.

We suspect this to be hardcoded to openly ignore the config parameter hence need help from the engineering team on the same.

Please provide the package NVR for which bug is seen:

      gdm-40.0-27.el8.x86_64
